Another region from Ecuador is the Coast and you can get there from Quito in only 5 hours by land. Manabí province is an interesting option because you will find delicious food and uninhabited beaches. In the Coast we also recommend to take the Spondylus route that are roads and highways that goes by the Ecuadorian coastal line from Manabí, Esmeraldas and Guayas provinces. You will admire the landscapes near de Pacific Ocean on the route.
One of the favorite tourist destinations are the Galápagos Islands, where you will find a unique diversity of animals like: Galápagos Land Iguana, Galápagos Tortoise, Galápagos Land Iguanas, Blue – Footed Boobies. You will also discover a lot of different flora that you won’t be able to find in another place in the world. Galápagos is at only 1:40 minutes from the capital by airplane and you will admire the 13 Large Islands, 6 medium and 215 islets. People also call the Galápagos “The Enchanted Islands”, it has accommodations for all the requirements, from hostels to fancy places like the Hotel Fich Bay, that is considered one of the most luxurious places to stay at the Galápagos.
